Switch to Clinear
Moving to Clinear is handled, not hoped for.
The real fear is not the new system — it is feeling trapped in the old one. Migration is planned work with a named owner, a verified result, and a cut-over date you choose.
Clinear is built by a clinician who has done this exact move himself — out of an ageing legacy setup into a modern system — in a working practice, with patients booked the next morning. The process below exists because he knows precisely where migrations go wrong.
The process
What actually happens
Four stages. Each one finishes with something you can check yourself.
We map what you have
Patients, appointments, hearing-aid records, claims history, open orders, balances. We review your current export options together — most systems can produce more than their interface suggests.
We migrate and verify
Your data is imported into a private Clinear environment. You check real patient records side by side with your old system before anything goes live. Discrepancies are fixed before cut-over, not after.
You cut over on a quiet day
Cut-over is scheduled around your diary — typically a weekend or your quietest clinic day. Your old system stays readable until you choose to retire it. Nothing is deleted in the move.
We stay close for the first weeks
Onboarding sessions cover each role — clinicians, reception, and management. Questions in the first weeks are answered by people who know both your data and the product.
Where you are starting from
Three starting points, one destination
Coming from a legacy PMS
Your patient base and claims history are the asset. We extract what your current vendor allows, flag any gaps honestly, and reconcile record counts with you before go-live.
Coming from a generic clinic tool
Generic systems rarely hold hearing-aid orders or claims properly — they usually live in workarounds. We bring the patient base across and set up the audiology-native workflows your old tool never had.
Coming from paper and spreadsheets
Often the fastest switch. We import your spreadsheets, structure them into proper patient records, and your paper files stay as the historical archive they already are.
Data safety
Your data stays yours
Patient data is migrated over encrypted connections into EU hosting (Dublin) and is never used for any purpose other than running your practice. Clinear never contacts a clinic’s patients and never uses patient data commercially.
If you ever leave Clinear, your data leaves with you — full structured exports, no exit fees, no retention games. The standard we hold ourselves to is the one we wished for when we were the ones switching.

A short conversation about your current system is enough to scope the migration — no commitment, no pressure.
